Take your skills further with Pass Plus Lessons from D Beckwith Driver Training. Lessons are available in Ripon, Thirsk, Knaresborough and Northallerton.

Many drivers who've recently passed their test choose to take a Pass Plus course to expand on what they've already learned during their beginner lessons. It's a practical driving course which takes a minimum of six hours. Pass Plus aims to build and enhance the skills you've acquired as a learner driver, this will include motorway driving.

Pass Plus consists of six modules, which cover driving:

• In towns and cities
• In varying weather conditions
• On rural roads
• At night
• On dual-carriageways
• On motorways

While the lessons are usually practically based, you may be required to complete an alternative, theory-based version of certain modules, should local weather conditions be unsuitable. There's no test to pass, you'll simply need to meet the standard required for each module.

Pass Plus is designed to boost your driving confidence, but as an additional incentive, many insurers offer a discount to drivers who have completed this training. Please check with your insurer to find out whether you are eligible.
